  Welcome to JV Hunts, pronounced lazy J over V. Over the past 14 years we were primarily a small cattle outfit with around 125 stock cows in pastures throughout the area. In the past years we have been planting groves of trees and food plots to enrich the wildlife in the area, and because of this we now have some of the best pheasant and deer hunting ground located around Gregory. Here at JV Hunts we take great pride in offering guided hunts on land that has in most cases never been hunted on by the outside public. Many of the food plots, grasslands, and shelter belts have been a save haven for pheasants and deer for over 20 years. Grim grew up in the Gregory area and spent some time on the West Coast in Oregon as a mechanic. He has been back in South Dakota since 1988. Between taking raising cattle, farming, and guiding, Grim has been a do it your self builder of all kinds machinery. Rita and her three children (Lucas, Marie, and Micah) joined him on the farm in 1995. |
